Westcut prototype and manufacture Aircraft Interior Overhead Locker Latches
A recent customer, working in the specialist field of Aircraft Interiors supplying a range of latches for different applications asked for assistance in producing a cost effective pressed solution for an application they were developing. Prototype components were produced using a combination of wire EDM and soft form tooling. This allowed for cost effective design modification throughout the design process. Upon completion of initial testing, the design was set and from production tooling manufactured in house, further samples were produced. Upon Initial sample approval which also included a range of burst tests, the latches were manufactured in volume in our Press Shop.
